Prawns Fry / Royyala Vepudu
Fried Prawns with Onion, tomatoes and some whole spice flavor make the dish authentic. This is a very easy recipe which you can prepare quickly when you are going to have guests at home. You normally don’t go wrong with this recipe as it’s that easy !! This dish can be served with Roti / chapati / Plain Rice.
1/4 kg Prawns (using frozen one)
2 big finely chopped Onions
2 big finely chopped Onions
2 big finely chopped Tomatoes
2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
3/4 th tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4 th tsp Turmeric Powder
4 - Cloves
2 - Green Cardamom
2 piece cinnamon sticks
1 Bay Leaf
Salt as per taste
Oil- 3 tbsp

To prepare Prawns Fry / Royyala Vepudu :
1. Cook cleaned prawns in boiling water for 3 min to remove its smell.
2. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and add whole garam masala and fry for a min then add onions, Ginger Garlic Paste and saute till onions get translucent. Move onions to one corner, add Prawns in the empty place and keep cook for 2more min then mix everything together.
3. Add tomatoes and cook for few min then add Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder and salt. Cook in a low flame for 5 more min.
4. Easy Prawns Fry / Royyala Vepudu is ready to serve. Serve it with Roti / chapati / Plain Rice.
Tips / Note
· Fresh Prawns are more tastier than the frozen one.
· When u are using frozen prawns make sure u keep them out 1/2hr before cooking from the fridge.
